Township
Ronald Township is a civil township of Ionia County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,903 at the 2000 census. Ronald Township was formed in 1845 from parts of Lyons and Ionia townships and given its name by state representative A. L.

From the Road Department
🚧 Upcoming Road Work Notice – VanVleck Reconstruction 🚧
Starting Monday, June 16, roadwork will begin on VanVleck Road, from Powell Rd to Borden to Judevine (approximately 1.5 miles). The project is expected to take about 1.5 to 2 weeks, weather permitting.
This project involves a "crush and shape" pavement rehabilitation process, which includes:

Crushing the existing asphalt and part of the base layer

Shaping the pulverized material to create a smooth, even surface

Repaving with a brand-new layer of asphalt
🏡 Access Information:

Residents along the construction zone will maintain access to their properties.

All other traffic will be detoured south via Powell → Borden → Judevine and back around.

Message boards will be placed in advance, the detour route will be clearly signed, and the Township has been notified.
